Founded in 1995 in Kyiv, GSC Game World has grown into a development studio and publisher with over 15 games released. Our flagship creation, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, reimagines the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone through an alternate-history lens and has reached millions of players all over the world.
Our team unites hundreds of developers from Ukraine and beyond. After Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, we established an additional studio in Prague to maintain the stability and support of our team.
Since the first days of the war, GSC Game World has actively supported Ukraine by all available means and continued the development of the long-awaited sequel to the globally renowned series. In 2025, the recently released S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was honored with the title of Ukraine’s ambassador in the field of digital diplomacy.
